Greenwood's Free Concerts in the Park

-The city of Greenwood is again sponsoring free "Concerts in the Park" on the Wednesday evenings in July at 7:30 p.m.A pie and ice cream social will be held during the concerts and they are put on by local organizations. The concerts are held at the Grassland Bandstand in Greenwood's South City Park near the ball diamond. Concert-goers are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to the Greenwood High School.
The first performance scheduled for Wednesday, July 1st is Mary Ann Lesar & Company. There will be other events on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of July.
