Plea Hearing Set for Spencer Woman Accused of Murder-for-Hire-Plot

-A Spencer women arrested for allegedly trying to hire someone to kill two people had a plea hearing set for July.According to the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Shari Klimmer and Porscha Rizzi tried to hire someone to kill the fathers of Rizzi's two children. According to testimony from detectives and investigators with the Clark County Sheriff's Department, both Klimmer and Rizzi approached two different individuals about trying to kill the fathers of Rizzi's two children. The women offered jewelry, the title to a vehicle, pills, money and sex with strippers in return for the murders.
The women provided photos, addresses and vehicle descriptions of the two men. They also said they wanted it done soon because one of the fathers wanted to change custody arrangements. The two individuals they approached came forward because they said the women seemed very serious and were afraid someone would get hurt.
Rizzi appeared in court on Tuesday for a status conference and a plea hearing was set for July 27th. She was scheduled for a jury trial in August. She also has a new charge of Violate Order/Intimidate Witness-Force filed against her. She'll be in court for an initial appearance regarding that charge today. Klimmer has a plea hearing set for July 22nd. Both women have been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit first degree homicide and they are in the Clark County jail with a $500,000 bond.
