Greenwood School Board Approves Overnight Trips

-The Greenwood School board approved a couple overnight trips at their meeting on Wednesday.As all out-of-state and overnight trips need board approval, two FFA events plus a Como Zoo field trip at summer school's end, were approved.
The board also approved a health care provider change from United Health to Group Health Cooperative as well as maintaining Met Life for dental care. Also the professional staff Supplemental Pay plan that has been reviewed by board and faculty was approved. It will be adjusted annually as needs and changes occur.
Several elementary school building & Grounds items were discussed including the parking lot with work beginning right after summer school ends, the outdoor classroom pond as there are structural weakness that need addressing before the parking lot work can occur, a handicap bathroom will be constructed outside the special ed./speech rooms in July, new windows will be installed on the east and south sides of the building in July and chalk boards will be replaced by white boards over the summer.
