Employment Matters and More at the Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board had a full agenda at their meeting on Wednesday.The board began their meeting with an open forum where Delten and Chris Schmitz addressed the board with a signed petition about opportunities for young adult access to weight training equipment. The board also accepted a monetary donation of $350 from the Black River Bowmen for an Archery Club at Greenwood. A big thank you was extended to this group plus Scott Moseley, who initiated the interest in this activity.
In employment matters, the board offered a non-traditional contract to Marilyn Ramseier. Resignations were accepted from Ryan Lindner, Kelsey Hribar and Lisa Susa. Lisa has been at the core of the district's elementary school office operations for the past 18 years and the board wishes her well.
Also, the reasons for using time sheets with summer school employees were explained. Board members Dean Lindner and Pam Delo talked about the benefits of using EXIT interviews for departing employees at their places of employment. Samples of exit interview materials will be discussed at the July board meeting.
