Spencer Man Dies in Car vs. Motorcycle Accident

-Clark County authorities are investigating a motorcycle vs. vehicle crash that took the life of the motorcycle driver.One Wednesday, around 11:50am, the Clark County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an accident at the intersection of State Highway 95 and State Highway 73 in the Township of Pine Valley.
Initial investigation indicates that a motorcycle driven by 63-year-old Mitchell V. Kacer was traveling west on State Highway 73 and stopped for the stop sign at the "T" intersection at State Highway 95. Mitchell failed to yield to a north bound vehicle and proceeded into the intersection. The vehicle traveling north was being driven by 66-year-old David Rawson. David attempted to stop to avoid the motorcycle but struck it on his front driver's side. Daniel was wearing his seatbelt and Mitchell was wearing a helmet and was ejected from his motorcycle.
Mitchell was transported to the Saint Joseph's Hospital by the Spirit Air helicopter where he succumbed to his injuries. David received non-incapacitating /non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the Neillsville Hospital. Mitchell is from Spencer and David is from Neillsville.
The Neillsville Area Fire and Ambulance Service, the Clark County Sheriff's Office and the Saint Joseph's Spirit Air helicopter responded to the scene. The Clark County Sheriff's and Coroner's Office is continuing the investigation into the crash. This is the second fatality for Clark County in 2015.
