More Details on Fuel Tanker Crash North of Pittsville

-A portion of County Highway A opened up around 3pm on Tuesday after a fuel tanker crash that occurred early Tuesday morning.The crash occurred north of Pittsville in the Town of Wood. Authorities said the tanker left the road and rolled onto its side in the ditch. The gasoline the tanker was hauling had to be unloaded before they could remove the tanker.
The process took some time because they didn't want to damage the fuel tank before removing the gasoline. The truck was also right under some power lines and they wanted to make sure they didn't damage the lines when they were removing the tanker.
No one was injured in the incident, including the driver of the tanker, and it appears that drugs, alcohol or a medical condition were not factors in the accident.
