Black River Falls Woman Charged in Heroin Overdose Case Appears in Court

Tuesday, June 16th, 2015 -- 1:09 PM

-A Black River Falls woman arrested in connection with a drug related death made an initial appearance in Jackson County Court on Monday.

Back in February, authorities responded to a report of a deceased man. An investigation revealed that 24-year-old Dustin Bahr had passed away from a heroin overdose.

As the investigation continued, authorities learned that a local woman who supplied Bahr with the heroin may have been responsible for his death. On May 31st, they arrested 26-year-old Dreama Harvey of Black River Falls in connection with Bahr's death.

Harvey has been charged with one count of 1st degree reckless homicide. Her $3,000 cash bond was amended and she has a preliminary hearing set for August.
