Guest Speaker at Clark County Economic Development's Tourism Meeting on Wednesday

-Clark County Economic Development Corporation and Tourism Bureau and the Clark County UW Extension Office announce Mark Livengood, Grant Program Director from Wisconsin Humanities Council, will be speaking at their next Tourism Meeting on June 17th at 1:00 p.m. at Loyal City Hall.Mr. Livengood will be discussing the Wisconsin Humanities Council and their grant programs that could benefit our community. Grants for the Humanities include projects that encompass Archaeology, Cultural Anthropology, the history, theory, and criticism of the arts, ethics, ethnic studies, folklore, history, jurisprudence, languages, linguistics, literature, philosophy, religious studies, and women's studies, those aspects of the social sciences that employ historical or philosophical approaches.
The CCEDC will be holding the Clark Countywide Volunteer Tourism Committee meeting from Noon-1:00 p.m. You're welcome to join them for that meeting also to learn about and potentially get involved in projects in the county.
