A Lifetime Acitvity Pass for Retirees Discussed at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board discussed a Lifetime Activity Pass for Retirees and heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting last week.The board discussed the idea of providing a lifetime pass to people who have retired from the District. After looking at the potential financial impact and the fact that the Districts offers a Senior pass to anyone age 62 or over, the board decided to take no action on the idea.
Elementary Principal Lance Batchelor reported on 4th grade Ag Days held on May 19th. The "End of Year" activities went well in the elementary. The End of Year Assembly on June 2nd and Spring Sing on June 3rd was very well attended. Swimming lessons started on June 10th and all three sessions are full. The elementary PLC leadership team went to Wisconsin Rapids and the Innovative Elementary Schools Conference on June 10th & 11th.
