OW School Board Hears CESA 10 Update

The Owen-Withee School Board heard an update to the CESA 10 Facilities Management Project.The board approved hiring CESA 10 to do a Facilities Study report that will look at the building and the systems that used to run it, looking for energy savings and changes that they can make to cut energy and labor costs.
The long-range plan will be used to identify projects that may fall under Fund 32 or Energy Exemption. The cost of the study will be $.06 per square foot. The high school has 86,500 square feet and the elementary has 59,752. Total cost of the study will be $8775.12.
The board voted to move the approval of the co-curricular coach/advisor list into executive session in case individual performance needed to be discussed. After reconvening in open session the board unanimously approved the list.
