Friday, June 12th, 2015 -- 8:12 AM
-The Owen-Withee School Board heard an update on the district's Strategic Planning. The board spent quite a bit of time discussing the process and the things that were identified by the committee. They reviewed the priorities that were placed on each item by the groups and will develop a 3-5 year plan for implementing them. As many of the items were facilities related, the Buildings and Grounds Committee will review and create a plan for implementation.
The board unanimously approved the resignation of science teacher, Kathy Winger, and thanked her for her years of service to the District. Kathy has resigned to take a position in the Gilman School District.
The Board reviewed the list of summer maintenance projects developed by Don Boening and the Buildings and Grounds Committee. Board members commented on several items on the list and also identified items that appeared on both the list and the strategic planning document.
