Neillsville Fire Department Responds to Call Wednesday Morning

The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a call Wednesday morning.

According to the department, the call came in around 10:44am.  It was a report of a smoke alarm going off at W6536 King Road in the Township of Pine Valley.  When the department arrived, they found the smoke alarm going off, but couldn’t smell any smoke.

They used a thermal imaging camera and searched the house, but were unable to find anything.  They determined the smoke detector was faulty.  The department was on scene for half an hour, they had no injuries on their part, and they had no mutual aid.
