Withee Woman Dies in Head-On Crash Near Colby

-A Withee woman was killed in a head-on crash near Colby on Monday.According to the Marathon County Sheriff's Department, inclement weather, i.e. heavy rain, led to the head-on crash between 86-year-old Shirley Wittek of Withee and a 64-year-old Marshfield man.
The crash happened on State Highway 13 Monday afternoon near Townhall Road south of Colby. Wittek did die from the injuries she received in the crash. The Marshfield man was taken to the hospital.
