Man Involved in Medford Shooting Incident Reaches Plea Deal

Thursday, June 11th, 2015 -- 10:22 AM

-A plea deal has been reached for a man involved in a shooting incident in Medford back in August of 2014.

Around 3pm on August 30th 2014, a man called 911 stating that someone shot through the front door of his home. He was not injured in the incident. The incident occurred in a school zone, so a lock down was issued at the Medford High School.

It was discovered that 20-year-old Harrison Davis was the man behind the shooting. He was arrested about three hours later at the Taylor and Chippewa County line near County Highway M between Gilman and Cornell.

Davis entered a guilty plea to 1st degree recklessly endangering safety and bail jumping. Three other charges were dismissed including discharging a firearm in a school zone and discharging a firearm into a building. He's currently in the Taylor County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond and he'll be sentenced at the end of August.
