-The Neillsville Recreation Department is offering a handful of activities that children and local residents can get involved with this summer.The Neillsville Recreation Department will be offering a second bus to Noah's Ark on Wednesday, June 10th, so more spots are now available. Children ages 8-18 are eligible for the fully supervised trip. The bus will leave the Neillsville Schools at 7:30 a.m. and return home at approximately 8:00 p.m. A light lunch is included and the fee is $28. You must pre-register by Monday, June 8th at 5:00pm.
They'll also be offering a "Fun with Fundamentals" basketball clinic for boys and girls just finishing 1st-4th grades this Spring. The camp will be held from 12:30-2:00 on June 16th-18th. Fee is $15 per child or a max of $25 per family.
Finally, the department has summer swim passes available and they're good for June -August for all "Open Swim" hours at the Neillsville Pool. The cost is $35 for a family, $35 for an adult and children ages 4-17 are $25. Open Swim Hours, starting June 8th, include Monday-Friday and Sunday from 1:30-4pm and Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30-8:15pm. The exercise/rehab/lap swim hours include Monday and Wednesday from 3-4pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6-7am and Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-6:30pm. The water exercise class is Wednesday from 6:15-7pm.
