Summer Events from the Neillsville Recreation Department, Part 3

-The Neillsville Recreation Department is offering a handful of activities that children and local residents can get involved with this summer.The department will be organizing the summer 3 On 3 Basketball League, for boys and girls just finishing up 3rd-8th grades this spring. Play will take place on Mondays and Fridays from 2-4 p.m. beginning June 15th. Fee is $15 per player or a max of $25 per family. The program will consist of 10 sessions with new teams being selected on each day. No previous basketball experience is necessary.
Also, the department, in cooperation with the boys and girls varsity basketball programs, will be conducting a youth "basketball fundamentals" program on Monday afternoons, beginning June 15th, from 1:00-2:00 in the Neillsville Fieldhouse. Boys and girls just completing grades 3-8 are eligible. There is no fee and no pre-registration is necessary.
