Summer Events from the Neillsville Recreation Department, Part 1

-The Neillsville Recreation Department is offering a handful of activities that children and local residents can get involved with this summer.The Neillsville Recreation Department will be conducting a youth soccer program for boys and girls in grades kindergarten - 6th grade on Wednesday evenings, June 10 , 17 & 24 at the practice football field. Play will be from 7-8:00pm with no previous soccer experience needed. Fee for the program is $5 which can be paid when registering that evening. If there is sufficient interest the program will be extended into the summer.
Also, the department, in cooperation with the NHS track team, is conducting a youth program for boys and girls ages 7 and older. The first practices will be on Tuesday and Thursday, June 9th & 11th from 6:30-7:30pm at the D.E. Peters Track located at the Neillsville High School. The fee is $10 which will include entry fee for the City wide track meet to be held on Saturday, June 13th. The track meet is open to any child ages 3-12 years. Practices will continue into the summer if there is sufficient interest.
