Committee Reports at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the committee reports at their meeting last week.The council heard a quick report about the recent Board of Review meeting held. The board reviewed the 2015 Assessment Roll and there was no public comment.
They also heard the Historic Preservation Commission Report. The commission approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for the window that was put in at Tuft's Mansion. They also discussed the 2016 calendar theme, discussed the historic note cards, discussed and will have a proof of the Historic Architectural brochure by the next meeting and approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for some work being done on the Gates House and Thomas Lowe Meat Market.
Also, a $45 donation for the city's hanging baskets was mentioned and plaques were presented to Terry Wolf for 12 years on the Planning Commission, Clinton Langreck for 6 years on the Library Board and, although she wasn't present, Barb Miller for 8 years on the Transit Committee.
