Stone Placement at The Highground

-On Saturday, May 16th, a stone placement ceremony took place at The Highground Veterans Memorial Park.Friends and family gathered to honor some of our Persian Gulf veterans. Some are KIAs and some were there to reflect upon their own service and help everyone appreciate the freedoms they fought for.
A great talking circle gave way to many friends, family and visitors to speak up words of thanks and praise for the stone recipients and the newest tribute honoring these veterans. As the tribute comes to fruition, a great week of healing and education is being planned for the dedication of the tribute in July 2016.
