Neillsville Public Works Report
Sunday, May 31st, 2015 -- 6:49 AM
The Neillsville City Council heard the Public Works Report at their meeting on Tuesday. The usual amount of work was done in the city the past couple weeks including equipment maintenance, mowing grass, street sweeping, hauling brush and compost, open and cleaning storm drains, worked on street lighting and more.
The department also had an odd coincidence of both of their mowers having issues. They also replaced an 800 pound, defective water valve at the booster plant. The cost of the valve was $5,000. They also repaired a major storm drain wash out at the old Sunburst property, cut patches for street repairs and they hope to start the Grand Avenue construction on June 8th.
