Antique Appraiser Mark Moran Returning to the Neillsville Public Library This Saturday, Part 2

-Antique Appraiser Mark Moran will be at the Neillsville Public Library on Saturday, May 30th from 9am to Noon.You may recognize Mark's name as he's been on the Antiques Road Show a number of times.
Mark said, "I was back on Antiques Roadshow last year. In 2014, I was in Chicago in July and then I was in Charleston, West Virgina in August. I love doing Antiques Road Show. I love being part of that gang. But, as you, and some of your listeners may now, we don't get paid to be on Antiques Road Show and we also have to pay all our own travel expenses."
"So, what do we get from being a part of the program? We get the credibility and visibility of being a part of a fabulous program," he said. "Next year, 2016, will be the 20th anniversary of the American version of the show, which is fairly amazing if you think about that. It started back in the 1970's in England and it came to the U.S. in 1996."
He continued, "They've invited me back to be on the 2015 tour. Unfortunately, all of the dates that they have for this coming summer and they'll be starting at the end of May, the 2015 Antiques Road Show Tour, I'm already booked doing my appraisal events just like I will be at the Library in Neillsville. So, unless I have a cancellation it doesn't look like I'll be part of Antiques Road Show this summer, but that's okay. I hope they'll invite me back next year."
Once again, Mark will be at the Neillsville Public Library on Saturday, May 30th from 9am to Noon and the cost to have an item appraised is $15 with $5 going to the library.
