Individual Involved in Jackson County Home Invasion Enters Plea

-An individual involved in a home invasion and armed robbery that occurred in December of last year in Jackson County entered a plea in court on Tuesday.According to the Merrillan Police Department, James Hill and another boy, Nathaniel Gunderson, went to a house on Hammond Street in Merrillan holding a pistol and demanded money and drugs. Police later arrested Hill and Gunderson and several charges were filed against them.
On Tuesday, Hill entered a guilty plea to a charge of armed robbery and a charge of theft of moveable property was dismissed and read in. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered and Hill will be sentenced in August. Gunderson was already sentenced for his part in the crime.
