Wednesday, May 27th, 2015 -- 9:17 AM
-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved the 1st reading of an amended county ordinance at their meeting on Thursday of last week. The ordinance deals with land division, subdivisions and private on-site waste water treatment systems. The list of changes included a slight change in wording, from shall to may, regarding zoning violations and the penalty.
Another was allowing unincorporated villages, like Willard, Chili, Humbird and Riplinger, to combine land to create a lot as a minimum of one acre is needed to create a lot and it's difficult to do in those small villages. The final item was striking wording that read that the Planning and Zoning Committee could refer violations to the Corporation Counsel.
Another minor item the board approved at their meeting was the appointment of Cindy Eichman to replace Lucy Hoffman on the Board of Health.
