CWSF Is Looking For Area Talent

The Central Wisconsin State Fair, in Marshfield, is looking for talent all across the area this summer!They will take a team of judges and a host to nine area summer festivals in Marshfield, Auburndale, Wisconsin Rapids, Pittsville, Neillsville, Greenwood, Loyal, Colby, and Straford, where the first 10 pre-registered contestants for each event will compete. There is no age limit or limit to the talent that can be showcased. They'll have everything from music to dance to comedy performed by people of all ages.
The first date coming up is Saturday, May 30th at Marshfield's Dairyfest at 5pm at the Central Wisconsin State Fairgrounds. One winner and one runner up will be named at each competition. The winner will go on to compete on the grandstand at the Central Wisconsin State Fair in Marshfield on Wednesday, September 2nd. The runners up at each summer festival competition will also be broadcast on the fair's Facebook page, where their "friends" will choose the wildcard performer to take the 10th spot on the grandstand.
The overall winner on Wednesday evening will be chosen by the judges and will receive a cash prize of $1,000. In addition, they will perform at Marshfield's Maple Fall Fest. The runner up will receive a cash prize of $250. There will also be a performer chosen to represent the Central Wisconsin State Fair at the 2016 Wisconsin State Fair in Milwaukee, where they will have the chance to win a cash prize of $3,000.
