Thursday, April 15th, 2021 -- 8:11 AM
The North Wood County Historical Society, Marshfield Historic Preservation Association, MACCI, Visit Marshfield, and other individuals and organizations are collaborating on ways to celebrate Marshfield’s sesquicentennial in 2022.
As part of the planning process, youth age 18 and under are invited to participate in a logo design contest. Use the themes “Celebrating the past; embracing the future” or “150 years strong and still on track,” or come up with your own theme to create a logo commemorating Marshfield’s 150 th year.
All logo designs will be on display at the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library. The winning logo may be used to help promote youth activities during the sesquicentennial in 2022.
To enter, submit your design, along with your name, school name, grade, and address, to the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library, 105 S. Maple Ave., Marshfield, WI, 54449, by June 1st.
You can also submit designs electronically to [email protected], or find “Celebrating 150 Years of Marshfield!” on Facebook.
