Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves an Amendment to the County's Investment Agreement

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved amending their investment agreement.The amendment was not changing their policy in anyway, it was simply adding language that would extend it an additional six months as it is set to expire at the end of June. This gives the county time to make banking changes and meet their requirements.
So, they had to make an amendment to their policy extending it for six months while the county takes on that process. They have a lot to do in a short amount of time as the county has numerous issues to resolve.
The county also approved a resolution supporting the Clark County UW-Extension and asking the state legislators to restore the proposed $300 million cut to the system. State funding provides nearly $200,000 to the county for the UW-Extension.
