-The Greenwood School Board heard a report from the District's newly formed Buildings and Grounds Committee. Many of the projects on the list for the different district buildings are considered a list of future projects, but the initial steps have begun on others.
Continuing with the elementary, the board approved remaining chalkboards to be converted to dry erase boards. Marshfield B & S was approved for that project at a cost $10,719 with installation included. They're also going to have their dry erase boards resurfaced in the future.
They're also looking into building a handicap restroom. It was decided that the best location may be the hallway outside of the Speech/Spec Ed room utilizing the existing plumbing inside the classroom. Houtari of Medford provided an estimate which would not to exceed $23,000 and they were approved.
Finally, they looked at Equipment concerns including snow removal brush replacement for $500, cafeteria tables, and a staff refrigerator. All of those are pending.
