Owen-Withee School Board Hears Administrators' Reports (Middle/High School)

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their recent meeting.Jr/Sr High School Dean of Students Julie Van Ark reported on the junior high recognition dinner held on May 14th. 41 junior high students were nominated for the dinner. Also, Community Service Day was held on May 20th. Kudos was given to Mrs. Mueller for organizing the event again this year.
The Senior banquet was also held on May 20th at 7:00 PM and graduation preparation is well underway. Seniors took afternoon finals on May 19th and morning finals on May 21st. They will be dismissed at noon, have graduation practice in the afternoon on May 22nd and graduate at 10:00AM on May 23rd.
Also, Marilyn Jaskot was named the VFW District 9 Teacher of the Year for her teaching, community service and patriotism, finals for underclassmen will be even hours on June 2nd and odd hours on June 3rd, June 4th will be a ? day for students with teachers completing their work that afternoon.
The board also heard a Buildings and Grounds Committee report. Now that committee assignments have been set, the committee needs to meet to discuss the CESA 10 survey of the building to review the various systems and to look at a list of summer projects.
