61.5 Pounds of Pharmaceutical Drugs Turned In During Take Back Initiative

-On Saturday May 16th, the Clark County Sheriff's Office participated in the 10th annual National Pharmaceutical take back initiative.The Sheriff's Office had collection sites in the Cities of Owen and Neillsville. Approximately 61.5 pounds of pharmaceutical drugs were turned in and removed from our county's medicine cabinets.
They collected about 5.5 lbs. from the Owen site, 30.5 lbs. from the Neillsville site and 25.5 lbs. from the prescription drug drop boxes located at the court house and in Thorp.
According to Sheriff Gregory Herrick, Clark County will continue to participate in the Take Back Initiative.
