Greenwood School Board Approves Some Items on Project List Created by Building and Grounds Committee

-The Greenwood School Board heard a report from the District's newly formed Building and Grounds Committee.Many of the projects on the list for the different district buildings are considered a list of future projects, but the initial steps have begun on others.
For the elementary school, the parking lot will be done. The property was surveyed by Marathon Technical Services of Wausau. Bids are due by June 1st and the work needs to be complete between July 20th and August 19th. They also included a 40X60 basketball court in the scope of the work.
Another project is the windows on the east and south side of the building. The district will be putting a new window in the kitchen plus 4 windows to the south entry. LaForce won that bid for $12,732. 4 other south side windows were approved as well, by LaForce, for $9,112.
