Body Found Near Black River Falls Indentified

-The Jackson County Sheriff's Department has identified the body of the victim in the suspicious death investigation near Black River Falls.The body has been identified as 30-year-old Jacinda Muir from Black River Falls. Deputies say her manner of death is a homicide, and that they're waiting for autopsy results to determine her cause of death. A 23-year-old man is in custody and is suspected of committing the crime. That man is John Cook, who is also from Black River Falls.
According to a press release from the department, on May 17th, just before 11am, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office received an emergency 911 call regarding a single victim; unconscious and not responsive. The location of the emergency was at W10236 Vaudreuil Road in Black River Falls. Sheriff's Office deputies and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene. Once on scene, the deputy and EMS determined that the victim was deceased. The Sheriff's Office requested assistance from the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation and the Wisconsin State Crime Lab.
