Spencer Woman Pleads Guilty to Murder-for-Hire Plot

-A Spencer women arrested for allegedly trying to hire someone to kill two people has pleaded guilty to the charge against her.According to the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Shari Klimmer and Porscha Rizzi tried to hire someone to kill the fathers of Rizzi's two children. According to testimony from detectives and investigators with the Clark County Sheriff's Department, both Klimmer and Rizzi approached two different individuals about trying to kill the fathers of Rizzi's two children. The women offered jewelry, the title to a vehicle, pills, money and sex with strippers in return for the murders.
The women provided photos, addresses and vehicle descriptions of the two men. They also said they wanted it done soon because one of the fathers wanted to change custody arrangements. The two individuals they approached came forward because they said the women seemed very serious and were afraid someone would get hurt.
Klimmer appeared in court on Monday and, due to an agreement reached, pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit first degree homicide. Another charge of conspiracy to commit first degree homicide was dismissed and read in. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered and Klimmer will be sentenced on July 22nd. Rizzi is facing the same charges. She will be in court for a status conference on June 23rd and is scheduled for a jury trial on August 25th-27th.
