Committee Reports at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the committee reports from various meeting held the past couple weeks.The Heritage Days Committee met at City Hall on May 7th. The committee was updated on obtaining the license for Movie Night. Dr. Amy Schneider, who's representing the Neillsville Youth Hockey group, stated that the group will be handling the kids' activities for Neillsville Heritage Days this year. The golf outing was also discussed, the expenses were discussed and the "20 and Under Tent" for Vic Ferrari was discussed.
The Beautification Committee met at City Hall on May 12th. The committee approved the purchase of 90 Geraniums from Gathje's Greenhouse for the Town Square Park flower bed which should be ready for planting by the 21st. Parks Director Regan Barth was given the "go ahead" by the committee to purchase plants for the gazebo. A weeding and deadhead schedule will be sent to committee members and fundraising letters will be sent out to help purchase the hanging baskets.
Finally, during the communications portion of the meeting, a couple thank you notes were read and it was mentioned that Clark County will be doing monthly checks of the outdoor warning sirens.
