Greenwood School Board Approves Youth Options

-The Greenwood School Board approved the Youth Options at their meeting last week.The Youth Options requests were approved for students electing to take post-secondary coursework while in high school during the 2015-16 school year. Greenwood's bus contract was renewed for 5 more years with new ownership of the Greenwood Transport Company. Also, open enrollment applications for student exploring moves in and out of the district were approved.
The board convened into an Executive Session for discussing supplemental compensation options. The board supports the Supplemental Compensation point system concept. The board believes that this optional pay plan provides something for everyone trying to improve as instructional leaders.
