Report of Officers at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Officer's Report from Neillsville Police Chief Scott Klueckmann at their meeting on Tuesday.The department had another busy month in April. They had 159 complaints, 84 service calls, 53 traffic citations, 101 traffic warnings, 7 traffic crash investigations, 10 ordinance citations, 9 adult arrests, 4 cases referred to the District Attorney for charges, 15 juvenile cases and 38 parking citations.
Some other notable department activities include a Letter of Commendation given to Officer Aumann during the location and assistance with a suicidal subject. The Neillsville Police Department was also asked to be part of a nationwide study by the University of Texas regarding body cameras.
Chief Klueckmann and his officers were asked to speak with several groups, provide training and attended training sessions. The Neillsville Police Department is also in the running for a $4,000 grant to help run the upcoming Ticket or Click It campaign.
