Organizational Items at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board approved several organizational items at their Monday meeting.Reorganization of the Board is an annual event that takes place after the spring general elections. Officers and Board Representatives are elected by the Board. This year the officers include Julie Wendler as president, Rick Eloranta as clerk, Mark Gordon as treasurer, Paul Heggemeier as the WASB delegate, Angela Greschner as the CESA 10 Representative and Rick Eloranta as the Annual Meeting delegate.
The assignment of committee posts falls on the president of the Board. Julie Wendler assigned Gordon, Heggemeier and Schmelzer to the Buildings and Ground Committee, Eloranta, Wendler and Heggemeier to the Support Staff Negotiations Committee, Gordon, Wendler and Schmelzer to the Teacher Negotiations Committee, Wendler, Milliren and Greschner to the Transportation Committee, Schmelzer and Milliren to the Technology Committee, the entire board is on the Curriculum Committee, Wendler to the Doon Award Committee and Eloranta, Heggemeier and Greschner to the Policy Committee.
