Construction Updates and Reminders for Our Area from the Wisconsin DOT

-The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has provided some construction reminders and updates for our area and the surrounding counties.In Eau Claire County, work is still being done on I-94 between WIS 37 and US 53 from now until the 18th of this month. They're adding rumble strips and there will be single lane closures. Also, Lake Street in Eau Claire will be closed form the 18th of May until the 18th of June while the pavement is being replaced. The cost is set at $168,173.
In Jackson County, work continues on I-94 from County Highway O to Perry Creek. That work will continue until the end of July and is expected to cost $11.6 million and it includes pavement repair, a salt storage facility, signing and pavement marking. There will be continual eastbound single lane closures until the 15th of this month and the east bound rest area is also closed.
