Clark County Man Found Guilty of Sexually Assaulting a Young Girl

-A Clark County man entered a plea in court on Friday for sexually assaulting a young girl.In September of 2014, an 8-year-old girl came forward and said the man, from Chili, sexually assaulted her 40 to 50 times within the past year and a half. The man did admit to investigators that he touched the girl, but he said that she asked him to do it.
The man was found guilty, due to a no contest plea, in Clark County Court on Friday during a plea hearing. A Pre-Sentencing Investigation was ordered and his $2,500 bond will continue. Due to the agreement reached, the defense and district attorney are allowed to argue one the man's sentence, but it was decided that the minimum mandatory prison sentences will not be included. The man will be sentence in September.
