Committee Reports at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard several committee reports at their meeting last week.The Heritage Days Committee met on April 23rd. They heard an update on the 2015 Miss Neillsville event, discussed setup and location for movie night, discussed kid's games, discussed beverages and discussed setting up a young adult tent for the Vic Ferrari concert.
The council heard a report from the Annual Board of Health meeting held on April 21st. The board discussed several inspections, providing consultations, one business was referred to the State Health Department, they're working with another that had a serious cockroach problem and they talked about city inspection tours.
Finally, the council heard the report from the Historic Preservation Commission meeting held on April 22nd. A brief discussion was held on a window that was put in Tufts' Mansion without permission and a discussion was held on how to make owners of historic buildings aware they need permission before making changes. The commission also discussed their 2016 calendar, properties for the Historic Christmas Homes Tour, the Historic Architectural Walking Tour brochure and an amendment to a historic property.
