Owen City Council Approves Title Change for CDA Position

-The Owen City Council approved a new Title for their CDA position.Currently, the position is known at the Community Development Authority Director. The council approved changing it to "Community Development and Relations Coordinator" and it will be used when posting the job opening in June.
One council member also suggested having a City Sponsored Community Event. The Community Development and Relations Coordinator would be involved in planning along with maybe other city committees and Owen-Withee organizations. However, the idea was tabled until CDA Director Tim Swiggum can talk to other committees and organizations.
The council also approved to give permission to have the burn out contest at the car show on August 15th and approved to allow the DRC to spend up to $2,000 for new banners for the city.
