Man Allegedly Involved With 2014 Stabbing Incident in Curtiss Located

-An Abbotsford man wanted for questioning in a stabbing that occurred at El Norteno's in the Village of Curtiss has been located.

On Saturday, November 1st of 2014, around 1:30am, the Clark County Communications Center received the report of a stabbing. When they arrived, they made contact with the adult victim who had multiple stab wounds to the chest. The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

It's believed that the suspect, 21-year-old Carlos Jose Santiago Gonzalez, was drinking and arguing with the victim before the stabbing occurred. He was last seen by the victim leaving the area in an unknown vehicle.

On May 1st, the Columbia County Sheriff's Office arrested Santiago Gonzalez. He appeared in court via video and was given a $2,000.00 cash bond. Carlos posted the bond and is currently out on bail. It is unknown if they have local charges in Columbia County and he's been set for an initial appearance in Clark County on May 21st.
