Road Construction Updates for Eau Claire and Jackson County

-The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has provided some road construction updates for our neighboring counties.In Eau Claire County, there's work being done to I-94 between WIS 37 and US 53. The work is being done from now until May 18th. They're adding rumble strips to the road and there will be some single lane closures.
In Jackson County, they're continuing the work on I-94 between County O and Perry Creek. The project is still expected to cost $11.6 million and include pavement repair, a salt storage facility, signing and pavement marking. However, the project is now taking place until July 31st of this year and there will be eastbound single lane closures now through May 8th and the eastbound rest area will be closed from May 11th to May 15th.
