Authorities Searching for a Man Involved in a High Speed Chase in Taylor County

-Authorities are searching for a man that led them on a high speed chase in a stolen vehicle in Taylor County on Thursday.According to the Taylor County Sheriff's Department, they were informed by the Price County Sheriff's Office of a vehicle traveling southbound on State Highway 13 at a very high rate of speed. Just before 9am, the vehicle entered Taylor County and deputies pursued it with speeds reaching 100 mph. The vehicle was lost 9 miles north of Medford.
Authorities were notified of a supicous person in the yard of a Taylor County resident. The individual had left his vehicle in the person's yard and fled into the woods. The deputies identified the vehicle as the one in their earlier pursuit which had been stolen from Michigan and used in an attempted robbery in Hurly.
Authorities identified the suspect as 36-year-old Isaac Laplander. If you see him, contact the authorities immediately.
