Neillsville School Board Hears Administrators' Reports, High School

The Neillsville School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting on Monday.High School Principal Craig Anderson reported on attendance, gave a National History Day update, on April 23rd Grades 9-12 had a prom assembly on safety, April 25th is Prom, on April 30th the 7th grade is taking a fieldtrip to Festival of Nations, May 2nd is State Solo & Ensemble, May 13th is a Scholarship and Awards presentation, May 17th is the Chorus concert and awards, May 20th is the Senior banquet, May 23rd is Graduation, May 28th is 8th Grade Graduation and he gave a scheduling update.
District Administrator John Gaier reported on the re-election of Rick Opelt and Dewey Poeschel, a thank you note from Kory Poeschel, a letter to the editor from Julia Backaus, school referenda election results, the CVTC manufacturing mobile lab, a Business After 5 announcement, an article from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, two articles on the Common Core, an article on the impact of poverty on brain development and a Focus article.
