Clark County Man Killed in Building Collapse

(Clark County Sheriff's Department Press Release) -On Thursday, April 23, 2015 at about 6:04PM, the Clark County Sheriff's Communication Center received a 9-1-1 call of a man who was trapped under a collapsed building at W4132 Ridge Road, Town of Grant, Clark County.The Neillsville Fire Department, Neillsville EMS and the Clark County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the scene to assist.
Upon arrival, Paul R. Rueth, age 58, was removed from the collapsed building and transported to Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville where he later died of his injuries.
Investigators learned that Rueth had been demolishing a building and the building collapsed on him pinning him between the roof and the wooden foundation.
There are no suspicious circumstances known at this time.
