Committee Reports at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the committee reports at their meeting on Tuesday.The council heard the Neillsville Library Board minutes from the March 31st meeting. The board discussed using the library basement as a play area, but no action was taken. The board is also going to test for asbestos in the library basement. They also mentioned a couple events happening including Unconditional Surrender, which was held this past weekend, and the Antique Appraiser on May 30th.
The council also heard the Heritage Days Committee Report from April 2nd. The movie night setup and volunteers was discussed as was the golf outing. Prizes for kid's games were discussed as well and it was decided that "Rock n' Roll to Go" would handle the kid's games. The Bean Bag Tournament, Bingo and the set up and staging of Vic Ferrari was all discussed. Finally, the committee heard an update on American Legion activities for Heritage Days weekend.
