Wisconsin DOT Road Construction Update for Our Area

-The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is providing a weekly update on construction projects in the northwest region, which includes Clark County as well as our neighboring counties of Chippewa, Eau Claire, Jackson, and Taylor.For those that may be traveling on I-94 in Jackson County, there is some construction to be aware of. They'll be doing work on I-94 from County Highway O to Perry Creek, which is near the Black River Falls-Tomah area. It's going on now and expected to last until July 31st, depending on the weather.
The cost of the project is $11.6 million and includes pavement repair, a salt storage facility, signing and pavement marking. There will be continual eastbound and westbound single lane closures through May 21st.
