Report of Officers at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Report of Officers at their meeting last week.Neillsville Police Chief Scott Klueckmann showed the new signs for places that concealed weapons are not allowed. He also mentioned last week being Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week and mentioned a grant he applied for regarding mobile forensic software.
The Neillsville Police Department had a busy month in March. They had 153 complaints, 61 service calls, 63 traffic citations, 128 traffic warnings, 8 traffic crash investigations, 16 ordinance citations, 19 adult arrests, 12 cases referred to the DA, 14 juvenile cases and 48 parking citations.
Chief Klueckmann also mentioned a Letter of Commendation he wrote for Officer Bembnister regarding a domestic disturbance incident he handled. Some of Neillsville's officers attended various trainings and the department investigated many fraud cases in March. Chief Klueckmann also investigated a complaint against one of his officers, but the body camera showed the complaint was completely unwarranted. Chief Klueckmann said if future complaints are made against officers with the intent of being malicious, charges may be filed against that individual.
