Neillsville City Council Approves Insurance Carrier

-The Neillsville City Council approved the distribution of 30% of the Room Tax and approved the city's insurance carrier.30% of the Room Tax went to the Parks and Recreation Grant. The remaining 70% was distributed to various organizations for various projects.
The city also approved staying with their current insurance provider. Most of the premiums for this year were comparable to last year. The biggest increase was in worker's comp.
The council also heard that the city budget is doing well with all accounts in the black and the Connect Communities application, mentioned at the previous council meeting, has been filled out.
