Road Construction on Highway 10 Between Clark County Line and WIS 80 Scheduled to Begin April 27th

-Work on Highway 10 between the Clark County line and WIS 80 in Wood County is currently scheduled to begin on April 27th.American Asphalt is the prime contractor for the $1.7 million project. Crews will resurface the highway, replace several culverts, and install centerline rumble strips. Motorists can expect to encounter lane closures and flagging operations.
US 10 between Wood County BB and Robin Road is currently scheduled to be closed for approximately 12 days in early May. During the closure traffic will be detoured via WIS 73 and WIS 80. The closure is necessary to replace culverts.
Construction is scheduled for completion in early July 2015. Construction schedules are based on favorable weather conditions and construction status. Eighty percent of the project will be paid with federal transportation funds; the remaining 20 percent will be paid with state transportation funds.
